Your vision, budget, and the unique character of your site guide every design decision. I recommend beginning with an on-site consultation to explore your goals, discuss existing features, and identify the elements that will make your space truly tailored to your taste.
About Me
Hello MY NAME IS JEN
I was raised in Northern California and have been enchanted by nature and horticulture since childhood. After studying landscape architecture at Cal Poly, I spent time farming before returning to San Diego to design outdoor spaces that celebrate each site’s unique climate and character. I love helping families align their visions and turning ideas into functional, beautiful, and buildable landscapes.
MY PROCESS
My design process begins with an on-site consultation where I take time to understand your goals, budget, and how you want to use your outdoor space. We’ll walk the property together to discuss existing features you’d like to keep, site conditions that may affect the design, and any opportunities or constraints that should be addressed. I’ll also explain what the overall design process will look like establishing a clear design budget and timeline.
Following the consultation, I prepare a 2D conceptual landscape design drawing paired with a thematic concept presentation that illustrates the layout, character, and design intent of the space. This phase typically takes 3-5 weeks and includes up to two rounds of revisions. Design reviews can be conducted on-site or remotely, depending on your preference. Once finalized, the design is ready for a builder to accurately estimate and move forward with installation.
